What I shoot, and from how far.

Every discipline has a working distance, and the distance decides the lens and the light. Hover a row to see the frame.

Focus 0.3 – 0.6 mFood, drink and objects. Shot at the closest focus, where the sharp zone is millimetres deep.

Focus 1.2 – 2 mEditorial portraits and brand faces. Eyes sharp, everything else a mood.

Focus 2 – 4 mHotels, homes and restaurants, photographed at the hour each room looks best.

Focus 5 – 20 mBuildings for architects and publications. Straight lines, real materials.

Focus 30 m – ∞Places for tourism, transport and editions. The distance is fixed, the sky is not.
